40 Days on Mission is a unique opportunity to live more intentionally on-mission during the weeks leading up to Easter. Developed by Westover’s Local Missions team, 40 Days on Mission will provide participants with opportunities to learn more about ministries, organizations, agencies and individuals that Westover has the privilege to partner alongside in serving our local community together with the love of Jesus, while also engaging with these partners through prayer and service opportunities.
Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
