The Gospel of Mark

While everything we do as a church must center around Jesus, this expository journey through the Gospel of Mark will examine in detail the life, person, and nature of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the One in whom is the beginning of the Gospel.  In theological terms, our journey through Mark is a journey through Christology, specifically focusing on Jesus, for the purpose of becoming more like Jesus, which is God’s central purpose for our lives.  And what better way to become more like Jesus than by gazing upon the life of Jesus in what is likely the first of the 4 major accounts of the life of Jesus – the euaggelion kata Markos, or The Gospel according to Mark.
