Love Where You Live

The Art of Neighboring

As a local church, we are a people who have been called to be good neighbors, especially to the community that we call home.  While churches typically occupy spaces in which to meet, the existence of the church has never been one of just taking up space, but rather one of entering into the spaces around it, serving with compassion, fighting for justice, demonstrating mercy, and doing so humbly and collaboratively with others.  But the mission goes much deeper.  Not only are we to be and do all of these things where we live, we are called to love where we live.  And loving where we live begins by being aware of the space around us.

This pivotal teaching series examines what it means to take responsibility for the places God has placed us, and what it looks like when it is all motivated by the love of God for the world.
